LMLC Resources
Welcome to your resource one-stop shop. Whether you are looking for a new book to read, a space to collaborate, and/or an online research resource, this page hopefully will have what you need. The Helpful Apps section provides options and tools to hopefully assist you with your current research goals. If you find this page does not help or you can't quite find a resource to help your needs, please stop by the LMLC to see either Mrs. Sanders or Mrs. Boston. We would be glad to assist with your research needs.
Books
LMLC Catalog
The LMLC has both fiction and non-fiction titles to be searched through and checked out. All current LMLC catalog titles can be found by accessing and searching through Destiny, our online catalog. To navigate through the catalog, click the link below:
E-books
Can't find a book through Destiny? If the answer is no, then you can navigate through 2 e-book collection resources. Just log in with your school account and borrow an eBook from our OverDrive library:
If Sora isn't the resource for you, then EBSCO eBooks High School Collection provides students, educators and administrators with full-text e-book coverage that aligns with their school’s curricula. Gain fast and easy access to more than 12,400 e-books, fiction and non-fiction, across all academic subject areas including a selection of classic literary works, important historical documents and general reference materials:
Collaborative Spaces
Have you been assigned a group project? Do you have an assignment that would be best worked on by utilizing a bigger screen? The LMLC has 4 SMART boards that can be moved to adhere to your project needs. The boards are equipped to access your school Google accounts meaning Google Drive. Accompanying the boards are U-shaped tables allowing group project collaboration. Two tables have white board surfaces that are just waiting for new ideas to be sketched and/or written out. Imagine the possibilities that could arise by utilizing such spaces as these.
If you or a group would like to use one of these spaces, please email the LMLC clerk, Mrs. Boston. She will reserve you a spot today.
3D Printer
The printer is available for students to complete teacher-given projects. However, if you wish to create a 3D model yourself, please make sure the project has a significant purpose. The LMLC only has so much filament to utilize and would prefer to save it for special occasions, projects, and student-required assignments.
Prior to creating, you must get permission from the LMLC staff. We are looking forward to seeing what EPAHS students can create!
